Misdiagnosing Narcissism - Asperger's Disorder.

The Asperger's patient body language - eye to eye gawk, body posture, facial expressions - is constricted and synthetic, akin to the narcissist's. Nonverbal cues are almost absent and their interpretation in others lacking. Yet, the gulf between Asperger's and pathological narcissism is massive. Many narcissists reach the highest rungs of their community, church, firm, or voluntary organization. The Asperger's patient frequently wants to be accepted socially, to have buddies, to wed, to be sexually active, and to sire offspring. Here's a nice page on asperger syndrome cause. He just does not have any idea ways to go about it. His initiative - as an example, to share his experiences with nearest and dearest or to take part in foreplay - is frustrated. His capability to reveal his emotions uncomfortable. He is incapable or reciprocating and is basically ignorant of the wishes, desires, and feelings of his interlocutors or counterparties.

Aspergers syndrome is a neurological disorder. You can't catch Aspergers, nor are you able to cure it. What you frequently get is a talented student that does not know the way to deal with folk.

We learn by the method of duplicating one another. Folk with Autistic spectrums don't produce these neurons when they see somebody else doing things. This would be considered a subtle cue and these are commonly missed. Analogies are not accepted unless the connection is understood. Both narcissists and Asperger's patients are susceptible to react with depression to understood slights and wounds - but Asperger's patients are much more in danger of self-harm and suicide.
